First Blog Post ever!
So, I decided I would give this a try - as a sort of outlet for my thoughts and what not. I may very well end up deleting all of this at a later time.

Let me paint the scene. I am currently sitting on my bed, at 2 in the afternoon. Despite the fact that it is in the upper 90s outside, I am still wearing my sweat pants and oversized t-shirt. My dog, Charlie, is pouting at the end of my bed because I won't give her any of my lunch - re-heated gnocchi and I think it was pork...
I have been working from home for about two months now and I have completely abandoned the idea of dressing up or wearing makeup. My hair is finally cut though, so that is a blessing.
Anyway, I figured, as I sip on my iced instant coffee, that I could start writing to you guys. I have no idea if anyone will ever read this, but I though the same thing about my books, and here we are with well over 300 dedicated readers.
Working on Chapter 43 of Lady Death
As most of you know, especially my Wattpad family, I have written up to chapter 42 ( believe) of Lady Death! If I don't add any more chapters - which I probably will - we only have 24 more chapters to go until the end!
I have everything planned out and I am so excited about finishing it for you guys. This has been the highlight of my year! Sadly I have writer's block right now. Thus the blog. I know what needs to happen in chapter 43, I just can't figure out how I want to start the chapter...
Thinking about publishing on iBooks or Kindle
So, nothing has been set in stone, but it has been a goal of mine to publish a book on iBooks or Kindle or something. My current plan is once Lady Death is complete, I will go back through and edit it. There are some details like the sword Seth gave Railynn that I mentioned but never went into detail on. I also want to introduce a character and possibly change the ending to allow for a book 2??
With all these changes I will keep the first draft on Wattpad, Inkitt, and Tapas but the final draft and edited version will be on iBooks or what not. I still have not come to a decision on this, I figure I will just cross that bridge when I get there. Of course the book will be like a dollar. While making money would be great, I am more interested in reaching people with my story and growing what I consider our family.
Copy rights and what not
On this same note, does anyone know anything about copy righting and other legal things? I know nothing about all of that and would really like to learn more before I make any decisions. Please email me!
The Dark Queen
This would not be complete if I did not mention the Dark Queen. I had originally planned to write the story as I wrote Lady Death this year. However, it became clear that I wanted the Dark Queen to be more than another short story. I have decided to put her on hold until I finish writing the first draft of Lady Death.
I can guess that I will probably make The Dark Queen my priority as I edit Lady Death and prepare it for publishing. I have way more fun writing than I do editing.
More Stories In the Works
In addition to Dark Queen I have several other books in the works. As you can tell from my site where I have listed almost all of them. I hopefully will start working on all of those at some point as well. Though I am not sure when that will be.
Thank you for all being patient with me and taking time out of your day to read this post. I will try to keep you guys updated. Love you all so much!
