Hannah Laine is American young adult author. Her publications include Lady Death, The King's Assassin, The Dark Queen, Princess of the Northern Winds, Liar, Shadow Song, and The Siren.

Hannah describes herself as a story teller. From a young age she enjoyed writing and telling stories. After college, Hannah began publishing her work.

Laine credits her favorite author, Sarah J. Mass, as one of her greatest inspirations. Other authors such as Alley Carter, Kristin Cashore, and May Sage have also inspired her.
